Doris Kallina / ‘Nez Muhleman Scholarship for Girls in the game of golf
The WTGA Scholarship Program was created to provide financial assistance to support and encourage young women golfers who are seeking higher education. The scholarship recipients shall exemplify academic proficiency and illustrate a connection to the game of golf.

TGA Works (Boys and Girls Scholarship)
TGA Works is a program for high school golfers interested in working in the golf industry. The program is completed over Summer months allowing the student to develop social skills, self esteem, and a chance to use golf facilities.

John Semander Family Scholarship (Boys and Girls)
The John Semander Scholarship was created to provide financial assistance to support and golfers who are seeking higher education. The scholarship recipients shall exemplify academic proficiency and illustrate a connection to the game of golf.

Junior Girls’ Travel Fund
In 1986, ‘Nez Muhleman established the Junior Girls Travel Fund to ensure that girls from all over the state of Texas who do qualify for the U.S. Junior Girls Championship have the opportunity and resources needed to go play. This fund is solely designed to secure donations and raise funds to pay for the girls’ travel and caddie fees.

Bob Romero Scholarship
The scholarship program connects junior golfers with life-changing competitive experiences through the Legends Junior Tour, as well as the South Texas and North Texas PGA tournaments, when limited financial resources would otherwise prevent it.

Winners Program/ Texas Challenge (Girls Golf)
The Winners’ Program, in its 11th year, is a golf and grades initiative of the TGA Foundation in partnership with the LPGA/USGA Girls Golf of Texas Chapters. The program was created in 2008 to promote achievement in golf and in the classroom. Girls are encouraged to make good grades and turn in report cards throughout the year
